Terms & Conditions

1. The seller

The webshop botteganoord.store is operated by Bottega Noord, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer, order and agreement between Bottega Noord and a customer via botteganoord.store. By placing an order you accept these terms.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in euro and include Dutch VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are shown at checkout before you confirm the order. Payment is collected at the moment of ordering via our payment provider.

Delivery within the Netherlands is free for orders above €65; below that a shipping rate is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is handled by our checkout provider Shopify Payments; card details are never processed or stored on our own systems. Clicking the payment button places a binding order with an obligation to pay.

4. Delivery

We ship within the Netherlands within 2–4 working days after your order is confirmed. Delivery times are indicative and not binding. Risk passes to you upon delivery at the address you provided.

If we cannot deliver within 30 days of your order you may cancel the order and we refund any amount paid within 14 days.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason, in line with Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Exception: under Article 6:230p BW the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once unsealed, nor to goods that spoil quickly or have a short shelf life. Most of our fresh and opened food items therefore cannot be returned.

To withdraw, send us an email at orders@botteganoord.nl within the 14-day period. Return shipping is at your cost. We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Model withdrawal statement

“To Bottega Noord, orders@botteganoord.nl — I hereby withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods: [product names]. Ordered on / received on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [today’s date].”

6. Conformity and complaints

If an item arrives damaged or does not conform to the order, email orders@botteganoord.nl within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and your order reference. We will replace the item or refund it. You always keep your statutory rights to a conforming product under Dutch law. We acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

7. Liability

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Dutch or EU law.

8. Governing law & disputes

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring a claim before the court of your place of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
